Gold

As you hold your hand up to take in the look of your new nails, your mind reels at what you're seeing. They are now quite long and pointed, painted with an ostentatious glittery gold color. But its not the color or the length that baffles you. Its the inordinate amount of rhinestones and tiny trinkets glued to them.

Gaudy. Thats the word that comes to mind as you survey the elaborate decorations on your nails. Bows, hearts, butterflies, each nail seems to have its own girly theme and you balk at the sheer impracticality of these nails.

As you cast your eyes about for the culprit, you notice your toenails have been painted a similar gold color and each of your big toes are decorated with a cute little butterfly charm. As you consider how you're going to wear you shoes with such things on your feet, you realize your loafers are gone. In their place is a pair a glittering gold sandals with a tall chunk heel and a thin cord to be wrapped around your legs.
