Going out for supplies

I felt I have never be so refreshed the next day. Dispite I am usually need a cup of coffee to pick myself up for the day I feel extra energetic and felt like I can eat cow. My neck and back pain from long hours of teaching also mysteriously went away. I guess the great masterbation session really helped a lot.

Life went on without incident for a few days. The few things that changed is that I can stay home all day without going to work(A blessing from the lord for an introvert like me). Also with somewhat of an increased sexdrive(I have no idea how I got it) and loads of free time I now masterbate much more often than I used to, at least twice a day. I also find myself to be slightly stronger and more energetic than I used to be. Maybe playing with myself is in fact a good way of excercising.

A long week passed before I started getting anxious. I haven't heard from anyone, the government didn't send help and most importantly the water supply is down. While I still have a bit of food left and the water in the tub can support me for around a week(if no showers or bath), I think I need to find a better way to sustain myself. The government doesn't seem to be doing anything so I will have to take matters into my own hands. After some consideration I decided that inorder to survive for the long term I need to first secure a steady supply of food and water and if possible some medisine will be nice as well. Also I would need some weapon to defend myself against zombies or possibly other humans. The kitchen knife was really a let down, it is far to short therefore I would be almost in a zombie's face before I can attack it.

Eventually, I decided as I still have some food and water left, it is best for me to find myself a decent weapon to use. Since the closest gunstore is 4 miles away and I worry gunshot might attract unwanted attention, the local hardware store would be a good place to start.

Later that day I arrived at the hardware store. I pick 7 oclock to go since the darkness will provide some cover. The trip to the hardware store is more scare than hurt. Several zombies are wondering on the streets but I managed to manuver my way around them with out incident. To my surprise there seemed to be someone already in the hardware store, flashlights accassionally shines through the windows of it.

I ventured closer to the store window to investigate further. I can see a 2 flash light in the store, apparently they are looting the store for supplies. There also seems to be no zombie in the store, they must have clear them out. Well that saved me lots of trouble, I hope they are willing to share, in the worst case I will go back home empty handed.(Oh boy I was naive back then)

I walked into the store and hailed those survivers. They seem alarmed at first but after realizing I am no threat they quickly calmed down. I walked closer and said,"Hi, I am Alex. Haven't seen any human for a long time." "Hi Alex, I am Josh and this is Kenny. It is nice to see someone alive in these **** days. So you are out here alone?" "Yeah, I didn't manage to make the extraction. Bunkered up in my home for a a week but I need a bit more supplys so here I am." "You are quite lucky you know. We tried to evacuate but didn't get out of the city in time. We got stuck in a car with out gas and its been tuff. Do you know any place that will have food? We are really running dry on those." "Oh, no problem there is a local market nearby, just a few blocks away south just infront of my home." pointing out the way for Josh. I can see a a light in Josh's eye. "Thank you! We really needed that. What can we do in return?" "Oh, I really need a weapon to defend myself against zombies. May be some tire iron or monkey wrench will do." "Wonderful, I know where we can find some. Me and my brother saw a few down the aisle. Why don't you follow me I will lead you there" I gladly accepted his help. When we were walking down the aisle I saw Josh wispering to Kenny, its a bit odd but I didn't think much of it then.

Very soon we arrived at the gardening section. "I thought we are looking for tire iron or monkey wrench?" "Don't worry, Here I saw some on the lower shelf over here come and grab what you want." I bended over can checked the shelf but no where can I find the weapons. I raised my head up and asked, "Hey, are you ..." But what greeted me is a baseball bat to the back of my head and everything went dark...
