Going home
You and Sarah went parted with Lisa and went home separately.
When you reached home, you saw your mum, but she was still cold towards you. Her disapproval lingered in the air as she looked at you, her eyes filled with concern and confusion.
"I still can't wrap my head around this, Alex," she said, her voice tinged with disappointment. "Maybe it would be better if you just got some boxers instead."
You took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. "Mum, I understand this is hard for you," you began, choosing your words carefully. "But panties fit better for me. They're more comfortable and I feel more at ease in them."
She sighed, her expression softening just a bit. "I just want what's best for you, Alex. I don't want you to face any unnecessary challenges or be judged by others."
"I appreciate that, Mum," you said, meeting her gaze. "But this is what feels right for me. It's not about making a statement or rebelling; it's about finding what works for me and makes me feel comfortable in my own skin."
She nodded slowly, still hesitant but less rigid in her stance. "Alright, Alex. Just... be careful, okay?"
"I will, Mum. Thank you for understanding," you replied, hoping that this small step might lead to greater acceptance in the future.
