Chapter 51

What's next?
Going for a jog
Arron was too restless when he got home, his mind occupied by what he did in the car with William, and Sarah finally had enough and kicked him out, telling him to go for a run and get the hell out of the house. Despite feeling rather indignant at being kicked from his own house, Arron supposed his daughter was right and perhaps a bit of clear air would help him. It certainly couldn't hurt.
He managed to pull out the last of the sports bras that Erin had (a gray one) and after putting on some pink jogging pants that emphasized his ass for all to see, Arron picked up his keys and wallet and quickly left the house before she could hit him over the head with another pillow, saying "good, get out of here!" when he told her he was going for a run. Damn girl, last time I care if she PMS' hard...
Still, not too familiar with the area left him with little options to run in the neighborhood and the school campus building was closed for the weekend. He decided to play it safe and hopped into the SUV and drove down to the park. By most standards, it was a nature reserve built around a natural wetland setting, the city having put sidewalks and pathways for joggers to go on, and he certainly appreciated the chance to get out and clear his head. With the sun hidden behind a few stormy gray clouds, he was certain that he would have the paths to himself. It was definitely true, he had done about a good half mile jog upwards near the mouth of the river before he ran into some other joggers, both older women, who smiled and waved as he passed.
Another 15 minutes worth of jogging brought him to a small clearing where he spotted one of the women who worked in his office stretching and getting ready for a jog. It took her maybe a moment to spot him and she immediately waved him over. "Mrs. Andrews!"
_I wonder if I'll ever get used to...nah..._Arron smiled and jogged over to the hill where she was standing and slowly helped the woman get up onto her feet. "Out for a jog?"
"Sorta. I was supposed to go running with some of the other girls but they just decided to ditch my sorry ass and didn't show up." He laughed and smiled a bit at the exaggeration that the woman, her name was Alexis, did in reference to her ass, considering the one he sported was larger and more round than her pert-shaped one. It sort of bothered him that he compared his to a natural woman's butt. "Anyway, decided the weather was nice and came out to lay in the sun a bit."
"I see, I'm about to wrap up my lap and head on home. Want me to drop you off?"
With that, the two of them took off at a leisurely pace until they reached the parking lot and he opened the doors. It was strange to be talking with a younger woman so easily but he had been noticing that more over the past 2 weeks, 3 actually. As a man, awkward and not really welcoming. As Erin, it was so much easier and it was just something that sort of went with the territory. He was suddenly invited to join in on gossip and talks, small meetings at the cafe on campus or even in the restroom which still proceeded to blow his mind. Even the topics that the others were discussing, from bra sizes to periods to whom slept with whom...
"Listen, did something happen between you and Richard?"
Arron blinked a bit as he turned down the street heading towards her apartment. "No, he stopped by, dropped his 'call me Dick' line, and then scampered away when the Dean appeared."
Alexis laughed at that and pointed her place out to him. "That guy talks a big game but he's harmless. He's definitely an M, bet he's also a bottom."
"Bottom?"
She nodded. "Yeah, he's not gay but he's definitely not an Alpha by any means. Bet he slunk away after Dean came in, right?" When he nodded, she laughed again. "Told you. He tries to play his game on other women but we all just laugh it off. I'm sure if some woman were to put him straight, he would be a definite boytoy."
_Now THAT isn't a straight line..._Alexis thanked him for the ride and hopped out, leaving him alone with his thoughts for a moment before he turned and reversed the car out of the parking spot and made his way through the complex and back onto the road. He was planning on returning home when his phone rang. "Hello?"
"Hello, Erin? This is Officer Wilson."
"Yes?"
"Would you be able to come down to the hospital, please? There's been an accident involving your daughter..."
What's next?
Becoming his Daughter's Mother
He becomes a single mother...but single for how long?
A man and his daughter move to a new town to start a new life but he didn't plan for it to be so drastic.
