Going Home

"Can I be honest with you, sweetie?" Carrie asked gently, while you cried incessantly against her. You nodded.

"It's not an act, you know, what you see between me and your dad. I love him deeply. I want to be his wife, I want to feel life -- life from him -- growing in my belly. I've never felt that way before. I never thought about being a mom. And I want to see your dad fulfill his incredible potential. But it's more than that. I've seen a fractured family. And I feel the sweet, innocent life I'm holding right now. You don't need pussy, sweetie. You need a stepmom, someone to heal the bonds of this family. I want to be that." Your eyes widened.

"You want to be our new mommy?"

"Yes baby. Some rules though. No more lies, no more betrayals. If you do, you're done. When it's just the two of us, you'll address me as mother. Around others you'll call me mom. And you'll know when to call me mommy. Next, I'm going to make my relationship with your dad public. Both families will know, friends will know, social media will be updated. And I'm going to move in with him next month." You thought about it and nodded.

"He will apologize to you for what he did. And I will protect and guide you. You're going to get counselors for both your sexual orientation issues and gender identity issues. Tonight, I want you to drink some herbal tea and try to sleep. I'm going to check on you every hour until you tell me you're going to bed. I love you, and I want this to work. Do you accept?"

"Yes, mother. I love you too." Carrie smiled, kissing your cheek. She made your tea, dropped you off at your apartment. She sped back to Texas, sending John a quick message:

Carrie: Heading back ASAP.

She arrived back just before evening. He had a bottle of whiskey in his hands, but the seal remained unopened.

"Barbie !"

"Oh, Daddy, you don't need whiskey, just me."

Half an hour later, they were nude, panting and sweating.

"I missed you, Barbie. I need you, all the time. I love you so much."

"Oh, Daddy! I love you too."

Carrie fell asleep in John's arms, with a big smile. She had a place, and a purpose. She was home.
