Going Down

After she'd led you a few seconds more, you notice that there seemse to be an increased bounce in her step. Not that you have a problem with this (nor the new visual it provides), but you look around, investigating it, and see she is holding your hand in one of hers, and the handle of a suitcase in the other. You consider asking for a reason, but again choose not to question when things are going well.

Finally, the two of you approach an area of wall with a simple, round mark on it. Miranda presses the mark, and the wall parts to reveal what appears to be an elevator. The door opens, and she pulls you in, with the door closing immediately after. Once inside, she hits a button again placed by itself, which again causes an opening, this one revealing what appears to be a hand-scanner. She places hers on it.

A computerized voice greets, "Hello, Miranda."

It all closes again, and the elevator starts to descend.

"Are we going to the garage?" you finally decide to ask.

"Not right away," she replies simply.

There is a brief pause before she adds, "No. I want to tell you more, because I'm really quite happy about this. This is not luggage for when I'm called away on modeling assignments. It's a collection of things I've assembled, and you'll know what they are when you see them, shortly.

Also, we are going to what I have commissioned to have built, and I call it 'The Bloom Room'. That's the sort of irony you might see in one of his movies, as he is the one man you will never see in it."

As if it knew she was done, the elevator stops, and the door opens.
