Goes through the door behind him

Marty shook his head clear when he realised that this was the perfect chance to get out of here before he was caught. He looked around quickly and found another door right behind him that seemingly led to a corridor. He sidestepped through, leaving the two lovers to their privacy.

The corridor led to a split pathway. He could hear people talking and steps coming from all directions, so he picked a path and followed it as far as he could. He had no clue where to start looking, no earthly idea where they could be keeping Gwen and Blair. The only thing Marty could do was hope he would stumble on some answers soon.

His wish would soon be answered, as the young man came upon a lift with two guards exiting it. Marty moved with surprising speed as he hid himself behind a stray door. The guards were talking loudly to themselves.

“So they took them to the top floor?”

“Yeah, they won't last long with the boss.”

“Shit man, he isn’t really gonna...?”

“What do you think?”

Marty had heard more than enough. As the guards left the scene, he hopped into the lift and pressed the button that would send him straight to the top.
