Chapter 14 by takacube takacube

What's next?

Goes out on another errand run

Arron, feeling a bit wary about all the boxes and cleaning, went back to the front closet and pulled out one of his jackets and slid it on, pausing a moment to fix his hair before he slipped on his shoes and headed to the car. It felt almost like a god-sent relief to get out of the house, to avoid the additional catastrophe of having next to no clothes for him to wear for a good period of time, and just to get going. He had told Sarah that he would pick up stuff for dinner and she had been meekly restrained and reclusive at that point. He didn't blame her for the clothes thing, things like this just happen, but she still felt a little responsible. If that made her more careful in the future, Arron was definitely not one to turn that opportunity down.

He was sure to watch his speed and be extra careful about the signs as he drove down the same stretch of road, making sure that he would pay attention to any sign of a police car. Then, as he pulled into the parking lot, almost by habit, he glanced around to ensure that nothing would smack him in the head from above. He wondered, almost with bitter humor, how ridiculous he must've looked for a moment, but decided that instead he would just let it go. Plus, with the rain coming down harder, he didn't really have a lot of time to be concerned about things.

"Shit..." he muttered, still feeling more than a bit damp as the rain splashed all around him and, try as valiantly as possible, he still managed to get his pants pretty soaked. They were a bit more clingy than he would've liked, though, and he had **** but to take his wallet and keys from his pockets and placed them in his jacket pockets instead. He didn't really notice that the materials, when in contact with water, shrank a bit and formed a tighter fit along his calves and thighs. Black was black, though, and it only brought out the curvature of his ass all the more.

"Oops, sorry, didn't see were I was going," he apologized as he turned and nodded towards the man he had bumped into. The other guy smiled and acknowledged his error too. Arron turned and continued to walk down the aisle of the store, not noticing the man's lingering and appreciative glance at his swaying rear or the way the jacket did nothing to hide the wiggle in his step.

He picked up a few more items for dinner and internally sighed as he returned to the front of the store and saw the long line. There were only a few items in his basket but, with the rain coming down even harder, there wasn't really a desire among the other shoppers to make things move quickly (or, in the instance of the self-checkout lines, at all). Arron's otherwise bored look turned a bit sour as he stood in line, the cold AC caused his soaked legs to turn a bit cold and his body shivered just a little.

"Fancy meeting you here," came a voice and Arron, looking behind him, caught sight of the older woman he had spoken with at Target the day before.

"Yeah, no kidding..." he began, feeling that a little conversation would help break the monotony a bit.
