Chapter 10

Wikia
Who appears before them?
Goddess of Salvation and a pure soul.
Annia and Elisia looked towards the gates of the Underworld where they noticed a light emanating from an archway from the archway on the right-side of the main gates (or "the Right Path" as some called them). The light grew stronger as a figure appeared in the archway, her beauty and divinity so strong that Annia and Elisia tried covering their eyes to ward off the obnoxious light, Elisia's throne beginning to conjuring a black fog of darkness on its mistress's request to drown out the light.
The figure wore an elaborate dress white as the snow, a hair band forged from the purest of gold and platinum, topped over her head as her long, blonde hair draped down her back like rays of sunlight. Her skin was pure, her eyes a glossy shade of brown like the eyes of enlightenment, the light focusing from behind her head like a halo.
"Okay, okay, Laguna, could you turn that down a little, its a bit much," said Annia, trying her hardest to block the light out from their eyes.
The goddess blinked, confused as what Annia was getting at before the light reduced itself down to a healthy glow. Annia and Elisia blinked a few times, their eyes readjusting to the atmosphere. Elisia retracted some of the dark mist she conjured before, bringing the room back to normal.
"Geeze. I forget how dark the rest of the Underworld can be sometimes. We should really put up some torches or mini-suns or something," said the goddess, her voice directionless and slacking. Elisia's eyebrow twitched, annoyed at what she might have been insinuating.
Lagunajoyanaya (or "Laguna" as her friends called her) was the Goddess of Salvation, a Baroness of the Underworld, having been chosen by Elisia to care for the Paradise-wing of the Underworld. All souls who displayed virtue throughout their lives or have earned a god's favor ended up in her domain, where they feasted and celebrated and felt contentment in her gardens and meadows and hills in her domain.
Laguna was one of the many daughters of Stoivik, current reigning King of the Gods. As a god of conquest, Stoivik valued gusto, machismo and various other qualities one would want in a warrior. While many of his sons and daughters it this bill, becomes gods of war and strategy and strength, plenty have also developed habits and personalities that contradict this, with Lagunajoyanaya being one of them.
She was always flighty, always going where the wind told her (which has gotten her into a fair share of trouble, considering the Gods of the Cardinal winds are a bunch of hooligans) and she eventually found herself all the way down into the Underworld. She helped give Elisia the idea to divide the mortal afterlife into the many different facets it is in today and was given her own little place in this big and confusing cosmos as a reward.
"Did you bring her?" Asked Elisia.
"Huh? Oh, hey Annie, when did you get back," responded Laguna, acting as if she had only just noticed Annia was still in the room.
"Recently, yeah," said Annia, twiddling her thumbs. "So, hey, that thing you were brought here for?"
"Wuh? Oh! Oh right. Yeah, she's here," where she pointed behind her with her thumb.
Elisia and Annia both tilted there heads until they finally noticed that someone was hiding just out of view through the archway.
"Come on out," said Elisia in her queenly, commanding tone, "you were invited afterall."
What soul was brought up?
