Chapter 8

What's next?
Go with Dorothy
Dorothy’s heading out. You like her, but you don’t really know her. You wonder if she has any tattoos. Well, tonight is as good a night as any to spend some time with her. Besides, the storm is really bad. She’s going to have to spend the night here at the house. Maybe she’s looking for a bed to crash in.
You follow her into the hallway.
“Want some company?” you ask.
She looks back at you, surprised, but she’s still walking. “Actually, Missy was, um…” she begins.
It takes you a second to realize that she means that Missy is going to be her company. You didn’t know! You wonder if Amy knows about this. She’d definitely see some great marketing opportunities for CCL if she knew that two of the most stacked girls in the house were keeping company.
But Dorothy isn’t really in the house; she doesn’t live here. She’s not a pledge or an officer, just an employee. Apparently that doesn’t stop her from having some fun. It wouldn’t stop you either.
You stop following her.
“I understand,” you say. You don’t want to impose on that, even if it hurts your pride a little. Does everyone have plans tonight except for you? You don’t really mind that much. It’s just the boredom.
As Dorothy goes on upstairs, you turn and lean on the windowsill at the landing and look out at the dark night. It’s awful out there. You are so glad to be safe and warm in here, even if you are feeling a bit lonely. That’s OK. You can find someone to party with. Nevaeh enjoyed getting that tattoo even more than you enjoyed giving it. Honestly, you never had any plans to hook up with her, but she was pretty sexy when you had the needle on her skin earlier today, and that strap-on in her ass. You could see what she’s up to, maybe. Or…
Your attention wanders to a vehicle that doesn’t belong in front of CCL house. It’s Shelby’s beer truck. Is she still here? Actually, wait a minute… so there was a beer delivery? You could really party if you could get some of that. But why's it still here? That truck is big and high enough to make it back to town.
Before you can move, you hear someone coming.
It’s Amy and Olivia, passing by in the hallway upstairs. Amy has her bathrobe on, and probably nothing else. She’s not an exhibitionist like Sun, but when you walk around in just a robe you are bound to give someone a peek sometimes, even if you don’t mean to.
And Olivia looks like she’s on her way to a photo shoot. She wears tight, athletic, black underwear: a matching Calvin Klein set that hugs her perfect, social media ready body. You could do a billion squats every day and not get a bubble butt like Olivia’s. Olivia just has good jeans, but she doesn’t really walk around in her underwear much. You wonder what the occasion is.
They’re talking to each other, but they stop when they notice you.
“Cute robe,” Olivia says, leaning on the railing and looking down at you.
“Thanks,” you reply. “What have you been up to?” Olivia looks a little sweaty and winded, like she’s been doing something difficult.
Amy looks over at her. “Chasing pledges around with a strap-on. You know. Normal things,” she says.
“Right,” Olivia says.
“Did you catch them? You didn’t, right?”
“They didn’t,” Amy confirms.
“Has Tracy talked to you yet?”
“About what?”
Apparently not. You better not start talking about guns out here where anyone can hear you.
“I think she wanted to talk to you about something,” you say with a shrug. “She should be around.”
Olivia smirks. “Popping percs and drinking wine.”
Amy looks appalled and punches Olivia in the shoulder. “Don’t say that. You’re horrible.”
“Fuck it, I’ll say it. I’m mad at her. She won’t share her fucking percs with me,” Oliva says, tossing her hair.
You laugh.
“Hey, Elsa,” Amy says. “Answer this: what resume needs CCL on it?”
“What?” You frown. It’s a sudden question. There must be a trick to it. “Every resume,” you guess.
“Wrong! See. We need to do a better job with this,” Amy says to Olivia. “You have to look at the bigger picture. Not everyone’s employer is cool. There are times when you have to leave CCL off the resume.”
“Then what good is it?” you ask impishly, putting your hands on your hips.
“Those are the jobs where you have to use your CCL skills,” Amy says wisely.
“Which skills, these skills?” you ask, wiggling your fingers.
“Oh, you have those skills?” Oliva asks.
“I invented those skills,” you boast.
They both laugh, and you bite your lip and shamelessly watch them walk away, mainly Olivia’s firm, but still swaying booty.
Yeah… you are definitely getting in the mood to party tonight. You never got off when you were with Nevaeh, and obviously Lotte didn’t take care of you. You know exactly what to do: go get some beer, then find some friends. But who?
Can you try to third wheel your way in with Amy and Olivia?
Or see if the party in Tracy’s office has room for one more?
