Go to the teachers

You go over to the teachers. As they see you approach, they smile at you.
"Hey, are you thew new student?" the male teacher asks you.
"Uh, yes. That's right."
"Yes, in the staff room we talked about when you would arrive. Welcome to Sprinkling High, I'd say. I am Mr. Denver. i teach math, and in case I know my schedule well enough, I should see you tomorrow, third period."
"I'm Rebecca," the blonde, bespectacled woman says.
"Oh, you give us your first name?" you can't help but ask.
"Oh, I'm not a teacher here. I'm a trusted teacher here, a guidance counselor for students who have problems and need someone to talk to. Well, I do teach English literature, but very few courses. Otherwise I only work here as the guidance counselor. And if students come to me with problems, it's always a bit more informal in those conversations, so I usually give people my first name."
"Uh, that makes sense."
"And I'm Ms. Anderson," the teacher with her hair made to bun says. "Welcome to this school, Tim. I teach Creative Arts and Science."
"Nice to mee you."
She seems strict. She does look nice too, but the way she speaks makes you already fear her a bit.
"Well, now on you go to your classmates. Recess's already almost over," Mr. Denver says.
"Was nice meeting you all," you say and turn away.

Before you have a chance to do something else, the bell already rings and you head upstairs to your classroom.
