Chapter 79 by Fiftyfiftyfifty Fiftyfiftyfifty

What do you do?

Go to the seamstress.

Eva leads the party into the market district, and straight towards a specific building not far away. It's labelled as, "Luna Silk", and the symbol beneath resembles a butterfly. As the party steps inside, a small bell rings, and you look around the dimly lit room--thin blinds covering the windows, which limits the amount of light within. The walls hold various tapestries, and there are tables covered in yarn balls and other materials. There seems to be a bit of dust coating different things around the room, especially the floor, and you start to wonder if this place is abandoned.

A woman steps out from the back room to greet you, and her appearance is quite surprising.

She has bright, wide, violet eyes, and exceptionally fluffy hair, which comes down past her shoulders like rolling snow. The pure white fluff contrasts against her brown skin, and two bushy antennae protrude out from the top of her head, and droop downwards. You notice that the same fluff also covers her ankles up to her knees, and her wrists down to her elbows. Four moth-like wings with a swirling pattern of white and brown extend out from her back.

As for her garb, she's dressed in a deep blue, fashionable dress which curves around her chest, over her hips, and ends short on one side while the other continues nearly down to her right knee. Beneath that is a pair of fancy heels. Her lips are painted as well, with a similar colour to match her attire, and her long, dark eyelashes are groomed, above carefully drawn eyeliner beneath her striking gaze.

"Welcome to my shop," she says with a smooth, wise-sounding voice. "Ah. Welcome back, Lady Beela."

"Are you a moth...?" you ask, letting the obvious question slip out.

At first, she looks confused. She then smiles, and raises a hand to her lips before warmly chuckling in response. "Oh dear. I apologize. I thought that was said in jest. That is a close enough assumption, yes. I am one of the bombyx insectrin, sir. I suppose there are still plenty who have never seen one in person."

Isn't that the name of an insecticide? "Sorry. I haven't."

"No need to apologize, sir."

Eva speaks up. "Insectrin are a human-like but also insect-like race that were originally created by a demon king that has since been slain. There are a few different kinds beside her, like the bombus, which are like bees."

"Always the smart one," the woman says. Her wings flap, and you spot several tiny specks of white dust drift down through the air.

So it's from her. "A demon king, huh?"

"I assure you that we're mostly kind folk. Though, not everybody trusts our word on that. Ah, but I apologize. My name is Luna, and I am here to serve." She bows politely.
