Go to the market to experience the crowds.

You always did wonder about the market places that you had heard about from travelers. They described the amazing buzz and chaos of people bartering, buying, selling, and stealing goods and services all in the same area in the center of town. You look around carefully until you notice the general flow of people heading north and after following them for a ways you finally happen onto the market. You have never before seen this many people in one place, the noise is absolutely deafening. Meekly you push your way through the crowds, admiring strange artifacts and foods being sold.

You make your way over to a stall selling fist sized orange fruits that you've never seen. The shop keeper eyes you as you walk up and pick up a fruit for inspection, however they seem to be put at ease once they notice the small sack of gold hanging from your pouch. Soon you grow bored of the new fruit and walk away, looking around.

Towards the north you can have loud drunken singing coming from a bar. To the east you can see what looks like slums and more low-life activity in that part of town. Over in the west you notice lots of soldiers and mercenaries coming and going, maybe one of these places would be a good place to find some adventure?
