Go to dinner

You decided to pick this snooping up later and go get some dinner. As you walk into the dinning room it feels like its a upscale restaurant and you feel very under dressed.

“So what’s for dinner aunt Lilly?” You ask

“Well hello John happy you can join us, how do you like your room?” Asked aunt Lilly.

“Well aunt Lilly no offense but that room sucks I’m a guy I don’t want to wake up and see a princess room.” You say.

“I’m sorry, I know Mandy is a bit girly, but hopefully once your mom gets a new job y’all can find a place to live. “ she said sincerely.

“Like I said I’m not trying to be rude its just I’m a guy and its not really my style.” You say

“It’s fine dear now lets eat.” She said

“Alright what are we having?” You ask

“We are having a completly vegan meal of fried eggplant with a nice kale salad, and for desert some fruit salad.” She said

“Great I just love vegan food.” You said sarcastilly

After some small talk between you, your mom and your aunt, your cousin Zoey comes in and sits at the table.

“Hi mommy, sorry I’m late Candice just couldn’t pick out which top looked the cutest.” Zoey said

“Oh its okay sweetie, did you two have fun?” Aunt Lilly asked

“Ya we did. I can’t wait to show you all the cute clothes I got and I got these super cute pair of wedges that you will love.” Zoey said.

“I cant wait, I just love your post shopping trip fashion shows, oh Zoey aren’t you glad to see your aunt and cousin. It’s been a while since you have seen each other.” Aunt Lilly said.

“Oh Aunt Rose I’m so glad to see you.” Zoey said

“Oh its good to see you to Zoey you look just like your mom did when we were your age.” Mom said.

Zoey and mom went on for a couple minutes talking about the stuff she got from the mall, her boyfriend, and cheerleading.

“Ah, nice to see you to Zoey, even though you have no interest in me being here.” I say

“Oh hi John how are you?” Zoey asked like she could care less.

“Zoey can you show your cousin around tomorrow and take him to class and club registration?” Aunt Lilly asked

“But mommy I was going to hangout with the girls tomorrow before registration, do I have to?” Zoey asked.

“Yes, just take him to hang out with your friends before registration.” Aunt Lilly said.

“I’m okay Aunt Lilly, I think I can find everything myself, and plus I’m sure Zoey doesn’t want me to tag long with her and her friends.” I said.

“Ya he said he can find his own way he’s good with it he doesn’t need my help.” Zoey explained.

“Nonsense, take John with you tomorrow or I’ll ground you for a week.” Aunt Lilly said.

“Fine.” She said “I hope your happy” she whispered to you.

“Can I be excused, aunt Lilly?” I asked

“Of Course sweetie.” Aunt Lilly said
