Diamond city was only a few kilometers away from there since you usually travel alone and wear some pretty nice clothes, steriotypes will do the rest.

You walk through the wasteland, being careful of other raiders and bandits, ghouls, deathclaws maybe, and other creatures of the wastes.

You walk past structures of old, your mother told you that a long time ago humans could have anything! Food, water, medicine, and these machines that are like airships on the ground, haha! Boy you don't think that's true, you mean abundance of Radaways and Stimpaks really?! Ahaha and the kars?! Hahahaha funny.

While chuckling about your sorroundings you hear a faint rustle somewhere near you and hide inside one of the broken down buildings.
