The faculty lounge has a long conference table occupying the middle of the room, flanked by a dozen or so chairs. Along one wall is a row of computer workstations, presumably for faculty use only. There's a soft drink machine against the wall nearest the door.
The only thing that would indicate that this is not your ordinary private school faculty lounge is that on one wall is a row of hat pegs, from which hang a variety of bamboo canes, birch rods, paddles, bundles of rope, blindfolds and so on.
