Go to Campus

Being a warlock has not, to the best of your knowledge, given you the ability to fly or teleport, so you take the same dirty bus to campus that you always take. The buses in this city are always packed, since cars are completely impractical in an urban environment like this. Nonetheless, there aren't enough of them, they aren't maintained well, and there are always hordes of private vehicles **** the streets. You wonder how many of them are drivers for gig-economy ridesharing software, scraping by even more precariously than you are.

You wonder if you had pursued a career as an urban planner, if you could have done better than this. The streets and subways seem so fucked up that you could hardly do worse. They probably wouldn't even let someone like you in the door, though. You were sure that you had to have better grades, and connections, before they gave you a big blank map and let you...just start drawing streets and parks and lots for buildings, you guess? You have no idea how that works, or how someone would get that job. Do you have to practice on regular little towns first and work your way up? You consider asking your career counselor, but you can't imagine climbing that high on the ladder the world has presented you.

It doesn't matter anyway, you're a warlock now. You think that's probably going to take up most of your time. Speaking of which, it's time to get off the bus. You've reached the campus.
