Go pick some berries

You headed over to the berry bushes. It looked like they were all oran berries, which you didn't mind. Oran berries had a dry flavor that wasn't great or terrible, but they also had medicinal properties that accelerated natural healing, making them very useful to an aspiring trainer.

You fed a couple of the palm sized berries to Ace{if Poochyena==1}and Champ{endif}, then started collecting some to keep on hand for later. You had the half dozen ripe berries you could find placed in your bag when you heard rustling from the far side of the bush.

You took a step back warily. If a wild pokemon was going to be upset about you taking its food, you might have to get ready to run. Pokemon normally didn't hurt trainers, and this path was away from places where strong pokemon went looking for fights, but if it was a strong pokemon and you'd made it mad...

A bit of green hair and red horn peaked around the bush, its top almost reaching knee height.

What pokemon around here had green hair? You had only glanced through the local guidebook, but you were struggling to think of any. You were pretty sure you had read the common pokemon here were zigzagoon, poochyena, seedot, and wurmple...

The pokemon, or maybe more precisely its stomach, made a gurgling noise, then it stepped fully into view. Humanoid, and mostly covered in off white fur, except the mass of green hair covering most of its head and the pair of red horns. It shifted slightly, letting you see a pleading red eye through its hair.

A ralts? You gasped slightly at the rare pokemon. They were supposed to be exceptional at hiding, but eventually evolve into powerful psychics.

Suddenly a clear image of an oran berry and a pang of hunger flashed through your mind. You blinked at the unexpected intrusion, then looked down at the ralts, realizing the source and meaning of the sensations.
