Go out into the ship.

There was so much of the ship that Michael had never seen. He had spent weeks on board this luxury liner, and Michael had barely seen anything but the main pool, the dining halls, and the inside of the Murphy family cabin. That was going to change tonight!

It took him nearly a half hour to find his way back to the locker rooms, where he was able to towel off and change back into his clothes. As always when he got back into his clothes after getting wet, they were really uncomfortable. He felt like some sort of frog in people's clothing. It was a little weird.

The ship itself was pretty quiet at this hour. It was nearly one in the morning, as far as he could tell, and the bar was far away up on the top deck, while Michael was down in the innards of the ship. There was no one around, and he hadn't even heard anyone walking about or doing things in their rooms for a while while he plodded the halls on his own. It was like exploring an abandoned ruin.

He honestly had no idea where he was going. The layout of the ship was a mystery to him, and he wasn't really paying any attention to where he was going. Michael began to wonder if he would actually be able to figure out the way back to his family's cabin. He knew what number and floor it was on, but he wasn't sure how easy it would be to actually access the section of the ship with all the cabins. He had gotten himself into a bit of a mess by abandoning his sister, who was really the closest thing he had to a guide here.

Michael came to a little lobby. It was dark, with only one light installed in the ceiling. It was dead quiet, and there weren't any signs that anyone had been around for hours or would be around for hours more. The whole thing made him feel very alone.

There were three hallways coming from the hallway, as well as the two elevators. He had just come out of one, and there were another two going off in different directions that Michael didn't think he recognized. This area didn't look like the one that Jean had guided him through when they had been making their way to the spa earlier that night.
