Go naked under the mascot costume

There was no time to think.

Mike stripped off his underwear and threw it alongside the rest of his clothes.

Suddenly realizing he was stark naked in the middle of campus made Mike's heart stop, but looking around frantically, he still seemed to be alone.

Mike rushed to the mascot costume and began getting dressed. The first thing he noticed was that the suit actually had three separate pieces. The large head would go directly over Mike's and sit on his shoulders. The next piece was something like a thick shirt that clipped onto the inside of the head. The bottom half would then buckle onto the top half, completing the costume.

"Half," however, wasn't quite accurate.

With just the head and upper "half" on, Mike was still naked from mid-stomach to his feet.

But with all three pieces clipped in place, Mike raced twords the football field.
