Go inside

With my heart threatening to jump out of my mouth, I took a few steps inside the room. It was dark, creepy, and looked worse inside than outside. The floor felt somewhat slick under my flats and looked like it had never been mopped. To my right were several shelves and tool boxes, to my left was what looked like a work bench with scattered tools and supplies.

I walked towards the computer, not really sure what I was hoping to do there. When I reached the computer I found it with the screen still on, not even on the screen saver. I figured, at first, that this meant Jake was just here and could be back soon. I considered waiting for him, when I noticed that the computer seemed to be on a video streaming site. I was half curious as to what he was watching, but also figured it was none of my business.
