Go inside the room

The large door opened into what seemed like a cargo hold. It was full of crates and boxes, likely cargo being transported to the aircraft's destination. Same as her, thought Valerie.

She went to a dark corner, where a bunch of crates lined the walls. Thinking quickly, she found one of them that was partially open, climbing inside - and not a moment too soon, for the door to the room opened right as she put the lid back over her head.

She held her breath as the guards spread out in the room. "Are you sure she went in here?", said one of them. "I think I saw someone go in here.", replied another one, this time almost directly next to her.

Their search continued for a few minutes, and she heard a few more voices as they searched the entire hold. After a while, the voices went further away before eventually one of them said "She's not here. Search the other rooms. In any case, I've alerted our LZ about her. They won't let anything leave this place without a full search."

She breathed a sigh of relief as she heard them left the room, and the alarm finally stopped blaring. Cautiously, she peeked out of her crate.

The room was now dark. She decided to look around - perhaps she could find something useful in the cargo.
