Go big or go home(The Raiden Shogun)

You only realize after you die, how short life can be. You realize how you might have wasted your own life being cautious and not enjoying the world to its fullest potential. Perhaps that's why now you weren't even feeling worried or scared about what you were going to do. You had already died once, so what could be worse for you now.

You looked up at Tenshukaku from its base. It was the residence of Inazuma's highest power, the Raiden Shogun, the Goddess of Eternity and the Electro Archon. You smiled, curling Yoimiya's lips for what might be the last time. You had fun, and while it was a struggle to get used to living once more, you can't say you will miss it.

Perhaps you were becoming a cynic or a nihilist or whatever those words meant. You didn't care about the consequences now after trying to live once more. Far from it you were excited at the idea. You depossessed Yoimiya, leaving the confused girl alone on the road, wondering what had happened. Now free as a spirit once more, you flew straight into the building at high speed.

You didn't know what to expect, infiltrating the home of a deity but you wouldn't back down. As you phased through the different rooms, you eventually found your target. In a rather anticlimatic way, you found Lady Eternity sitting by a desk doing paperwork. You had thought as a Goddess it would be beneath her but it seems like you were wrong.

Nevertheless she was alone now. This was your moment. You wasted no time in rushing for the Shogun. That's when things got strange. You had expected possessing her to be difficult, surely as a Goddess she would destroy you on the spot or fight back. She'd surely notice you and resist. So why was nothing happening right now.

You blinked, finding yourself in a new body once more without any resistance at all from its owner. Something was wrong though. It was too easy, it was like there was nothing in the body at all. It got even stranger from there. The sensations were...different. You weren't breathing any more. You felt...hollow. Something wasn't right. Even if she were a God, something still felt off with her body.

"Maybe her memories can help." You thought in a panic as you focused and look inwards of yourself, what you found was...unbelievable. "No way." You muttered.

The Raiden Shogun...was a puppet. The real Archon had already sealed her soul within her sword and left a puppet she created to rule the nation in her stead. Now it all made sense. You didn't have trouble possessing her because her spirit wasn't present here at all. Talk about lucky.

To think the Archon really left a vacant puppet here. What would have happen if some other spirit tried to possess her?

No matter, you were here now and that's all that mattered. You looked into your memories and found that the Archon had been rather careless, she left behind numerous instructions to the puppet on how to handle all threats to Eternity, even the Archon herself. You smirked, using these memories, you reached to your new chest and plunged your hand within. Not long after, you removed a sword, the Shogun's true form now.

With the sword in hand you had nothing fear now that Shogun could not connect with her body. You used your new body's speed and moved at the speed of lightning, heading to the deepest chamber beneath the Tenshukaku. You walked into the centre of the room, and jammed the sword in the ground. Satisfied, you left, sealing the chamber and leaving the Shogun trapped. Now you were free to do as you please.
