Chapter 5 by carlsjunior carlsjunior

What now? Do you go back to town or stay at Goroff's or something else? What do the townsfolk do?

Go back to town.

"Yes, please take me back." You reply.

The ride back is just as utterly silent as the ride there, but you are anxious for completely different reasons. You have Goroff drop you off about a quarter mile outside of town and you try to creep in under nightfall. Thankfully, Ventry is not a big or wealthy enough town to have complete city walls, so you are able to slip into the town center and hide in an alleyway in relative ease, but from here you haven't a clue where you will go.

If you go home you will have to explain yourself and you haven't thought of one yet. And You dare not show your face in church after what you've done. The only other place a girl could permissibly be at this hour is the house of one of her friends, and even those aren't safe for you. If the rumor of you and Goroff leaving together has spread, your friends will likely be prepared to shun you and their parents may even turn you in.

There is one other place you could go, if you knew where it was; the technically illegal tavern that operates for the young men around town. The problem is you know nearly nothing about it, just that the authorities will turn a blind eye as long it is kept out of view, much the same as you. Those young men would be just about the only people in town glad to see you after what you've done, but they would inevitably want to take turns on you and your sex is still sore.

Do you go home? To a friend's house? Look for the tavern? Or (feeling suicidal?) Church?
