Chapter 9 by Jizzrar Jizzrar

What is the Next Course of Attack?

Go For the Sword and Plan

Feeling yourself coming under the bloodlust that Orcs cloud their minds with when in battle, you shake your head and get a grip of your sanity. You needed to keep a good head about you. Sure, you took care of the walking shield of a Dwarf, but there was still the majority of the heroes' party to fight. However, it took you a bit longer to regain your sanity.

The half-breed had already completely demolished the Goblins that were on her, the shaman that you rescued before hand, plus two more, had helped a bit, but there was only so much you could do against a raging cow. And it didn't look like you were going to get any reinforcements any time soon. Your Master's citadel could only have so many Goblins it could spare at a time to repel assaults.

Sighing to yourself, you looked over and then found and picked up your sword. You decide to asses the situation to see where everything stood. You looked to one side and noticed that the human has been injured and likely will not last long against the group of Goblins attacking him. Good, it seems these tiny cowards were good for something.

You then look to the other to see how the females were faring. As soon as you do, you see an axe blade coming right for your face. Acting quickly, you raised your sword and was knocked on your back as the minotaur-human hybrid was above you, trying to use her strength to keep you down as she raised her other axe to strike you. Not having any of that, you managed to get your foot to her mid-section and kicked her off.

You roared as you raised your sword ready for the blow, but then something surprising happened. The human behind you had sacrificed himself as he threw his sword at you. This resulted in the semi-heavy blade to hit you in the back of the leg and made you go off-balance.

This resulted in two events. One where the human was quickly slain by your subordinates. Two where the fast recovering half-breed notice your disposition and raised both her axes before bringing them down in a dual-cross slash.

The last thing that goes through your mind is the room spinning in your sight. She had decapitated you, the axes slicing through your neck guards. Only gurgling came from your mouth and total numbness. It felt like ice was coating your face as your eyes closed, passing out from oxygen lost.

You then join the nether as even thoughts escaped from you.

"Rule Number 95" has it's time and place
