Glory vs. Justice Demon, Round II

Glory turned back to Buffy with a smile and said, "I'll think I'll remove that spell of yours just for the heck of it."

She stared into Buffy's eyes, made a gesture with her left hand, and then muttered some words that were old when the world was young. Then suddenly Buffy experienced the world's worst headache. After which she remembered everything...

Everything she had done that night. Everything she had wanted to do. And everything she suspected was going to happen.

"Oh my god!" she screamed. "I'm naked. Where are my clothes? How am I going to get out of here?"

"Relax, Buffy," said Glory. "You're not going anywhere. I'm nowhere close to being through with you yet."

"You're the one who's been kicking me?" said Buffy. "You could have killed me, you know."

Glory just laughed. "Oh, Buffy, if I had truly wanted you dead, you'd be dead by now."

"Then why?..."

"I told you why," said Glory. "Anyway, it's more fun to beat up on a Slayer than a mere human and it's not like you're strong enough to challenge me. So let's get back to doing what --"

"What the hell did you do with Anyanka?" cried a voice from behind Glory.

Glory turned to see a woman with curly black hair and a black dress standing behind her.

Again, Glory asked, "Who the hell are you?"

"Halfrek," said the black-haired woman. "Member and representative of Justice Demon Local # 666."

"Not another one," said Glory.

Halfrek just smiled and turned toward Buffy. "Make a wish, dear."

"A wish?" asked Buffy. "You mean, like for a pony?"

"Yes, I suppose you could wish for a pony, but wouldn't you rather wish for something else?" asked Halfrek, gesturing with her eyes in Glory's direction.

"I don't get what you're saying," said Buffy.

"Buuuffy," said Halfrek. "Aren't you angry at someone? Wouldn't you like to get back at someone? Don't you feel the need to get justice from someone?"

Glory just laughed. "The poor girl's still getting used to her own name. She's not going to be much help to you, Justice Demon. However, I can help you out. I might not send you to the same place that I sent your friend but I can send you to some place a lot less pleasant. Let's see. Where should I send you to? Niflheim? Mictlan? Gehenna?"

"Er, Buffy, now would be a good time to make a wish," said Halfrek, trying to conceal the nervousness in her voice.

"She's not going to make a wish," said Glory. "I'm going to make a wish. And right now I --"

"Oh, shut up, Glory," said Buffy. "I wish you'd just shut up and go as far away from here as possible."

Halfrek smiled and said, "Wish granted."

After that, Glory just vanished.
