Giving into Temptation

One match quickly became two as day turned to night for the businessman. Judging by the pictures dancing about the screen, the game consisted of two people trying to beat each other with collectible cards based off of the fancy dresses that woman wear. How convenient.

"Hmm... I guess I can make a Lady deck." Brice thought, feeling a thought enter his head.

'You want to be like those ladies.'

'You want to dress like those ladies.'

"Yeah. That sounds like a wonderful idea."

Clicking out of his completed game, the businessman went over to the deck building screen. Fingers dancing about the keyboard, he brought all the lady cards he had.

As it would turn out, he had none. Guess 'Ladies' aren't so powerful.

"No, that's a bad idea."

'This is your dream.'

"Don't give up now.'

Without thought, he switched menus. Now, he was on the pack menu. While he sometimes splurged, making a competitive deck with just lady cards was going to be a challenge.

"How the heck have I got so many of these?" he thought, moving the mouse over to 'open all' button. If he was lucky, this should be enough. "Here goes nothing."

Clicking the button, Brice watched the packs open up. To some extent, he felt like a little girl getting one of those packages of barbies. He sometimes wished that he could be one some days. They had a lot less to worry about. Just act cute, eat lots of candy and get treated like a princess.

Sure, he knew that the real world didn't work that. But the idea of that was tempting.

"Oh right. The cards." he told himself, turning back to the screen. A double take followed. Against all odds, he believed he had himself a new deck.

'You believe that you can become a lady.'

"I can do this."

With that, the deck building process began.
