Giving Spencer the news

The next morning, Spencer received a text from Jasmine telling him to come over to her place. Whilst it broke from their routine, he wasn't about to argue. As he got inside, he saw Jasmine sitting on her couch wearing nothing but her pink silk robe. Upon seeing Spencer again, Jasmine's face lit up with a smile.

"Hey Spence." She said.

"How's it going Jazzy?"

"Good." Jasmine said as Spencer sat on the couch. "Got some news for you."

"Oh, you're..."

Jasmine's smile grew as she nodded.

"Oh my God. Congratulations."

The two embraced in each other's arms. "Found out yesterday."

"That's great. I'm so happy for you two."

The two then relaxed back on the couch."So yeah..."

"How did Amber take it?"

"Oh, she's already in protective mode. She wouldn't let me drive to dinner last night to celebrate."

After a chuckle, Spencer said "Will she let you cook?"

"Hopefully."

"Well, I'm happy for the both of you. And just remember, if you need anything, just ask."

"Of course."

"So you two got any plans?"

Jasmine nodded. "Yeah. Amber's thinking of taking some time off work so we can spend some time together."

"That's a good idea, trust me."

"Well you're the expert among us."

"Heh. So what about the room? Still want me to paint that?"

"Sure do. You wanna do that on the weekend?"

"Sounds like a plan. Anything else?"

"Well, soon enough, we're not gonna have a lot of time together." Jasmine put a hand on Spencer's thigh.

"Guess we better make the best of it then."
