Give Zoe the Carving Knife

"Amazing" Zoe says,, taking the Rune Carving Knife out of Maia's hands even before she explained what it is

"I've been trying to get one of these for my lab for years, and you found one for me in such a short time. Really great timing on your part Maia, now you won't have to practice with a regular knife. Grab some bones from the loose parts pile and get to carving."

"What do you want me to carve? I don't know any runes" Maia asked.

"Oh who cares? Just do, say, the alphabet over and over, as small as you can manage while keeping it legible".

Maia exited the Spinlab with burning forearms and a sore back from hunching over tiny bones all day.
