"Sorry babe," Leah said her tone shifting to a conciliatory mood "I really meant to text earlier. Samantha got so sick at the club. So I was helping take care of her. You know she likes to drink."

"Y'all went to the club?" He asked, his eyes a mixture of shock and tinged with a hint of disgust.

"Well Yeah," Leah said moving closely to him "it wasn't my idea of course. Just a girls night out. I wanted to invite you but they voeted that."

"Dance with anyone?" He said moving to his feet slowly, his eyes red from staring at the computer all night waiting for her return.

"Oh no just the girls." Leah reassured him, "I wish I could have danced with you." She moved in and game him a kiss. Her words and her lips reassured him like honey.

"Lets get some sleep babe." he said and they headed off to sleep.
