"Sorry babe," Leah said her tone shifting to a conciliatory mood "I really meant to text earlier.Don't worry, Samantha sent you a text. You got it right?"

Leah had texted Samantha on her way home that she needed Samantha to cover for her. And to text Jonathan that she had been out late with her. Samantha had agreed without hesitation.

"A text?" He looked down at his phone. "Oh yeah, there is one."

"You didn't see it?" Leah asked.

"Sorry I was on my computer." he mumbled as he read the message.

"It's late babe, lets get some sleep." Leah said heading toward the bedroom.

"Yeah it is late. Well you are a good friend to take care of Samnatha, she said she got drunk and you watched her." He smiled as they moved toward the bedroom and went to bed quickly.
