Gift of Loving

Watching the audience speculate provided a great deal of agony to Jennifer. Really what right did they have to judge her? They don't know shit. They can't punish her for something they don't even know happened. So he hinted at scandals, so what. Wasn't it innocent until proven guilty? Her life was the culmination of the labor of her parents and the sacrifices she made. If they cannot handle that then perhaps they shouldn't be judging her life. She'll find a way to win back her reality and then maybe it's high time she became something. And then this whole operation is going to fall to its knees in worship. She'll be the queen, and... Maybe the ego-stroking has gone a bit too far. Realizing that the votes were already tallied, Jennifer's coping was interrupted by Jack's announcement. "With 30.7% of the votes, Gift of Loving wins! Now not to spoil anything but this really pairs well with this lead-up. As the magic happens, let me surprise Jennifer with a little video the studio cooked up."

As everyone's attention focused on the big screen, Jennifer's mind raced through the catalog of shitty things she's done. Not a lot that could be captured on camera, and honestly: Jennifer isn't that worried about any political backstabbing she did. No one's truly going to be interested in corruption vs corruption for the fifty millionth time. At worst she just leaked some tapes that someone "found".

But it wasn't Jennifer that was in the video. It wasn't a recording of anything she did, anything someone related to her did. There on the screen was the reason she spent Saturdays baked and shitfaced. A former friend, sitting with her husband inside a studio booth, smiling at each other. "Hiya bestie! It's been a while, hasn't it? Wild how a weird game show was how we can finally see each other. And I can't believe how much this company knows about you. I mean, I always thought I did, up until you fucked up my wedding. What a big fuck you to all your friends too. It's ok though because thanks to this wonderful company my husband and I are getting our lives back in order. And while my husband believes in salvation, I don't think I agree. So each of us got to choose two punishments for you. And you best hope they pick one of his. Sayonara, bitch!"

As the recording stopped, all the cameras switched back to a twitching Jennifer, thinking, 'Of all the bullshit they could've brought up they could've brought up why did it have to hit so close to home'. She did the right thing then. Definitely. Surely. It was endangering other people's lives and if she didn't somebody could've been hurt. The press and boost to her image was only a coincidental benefit... Yeah, a benefit. But yet, it's why Jennifer has so much beer on her straining sweater.

Tapping Jennifer on the shoulder, Jack laughed as Jen jumped sideways before tripping over nothing. Dramatically she fell face-first onto the stage as the spotlight looms over her head. As she tries to stand, the waistbands of her yoga pants start to slide down as she shimmies up back onto the podium. "So Jen, I'm sure the audience would love to hear the story behind that call. Just how could you ruin their wedding so horribly that they'd dish out punishments for you?!"

Shifting in place, Jennifer stammers "L-like that's.. None of your bees-wax!"

Jennifer tries to 'clarify' before covering her mouth: "Jen-Jen just made a big whoopsie."

"OMIGOSH JEN-JEN!" Chrissi titters "That's soooo adorable!"

Laughing, Jack clarifies, clearing his throat first. "As the audience can hear and see, whenever 'Jen-Jen' is surprised her cold exterior breaks revealing this absolutely adorable filter for everything Jen tries to do. She'll find herself thinking, acting, and being all ditzy and 'dere' for whoever shattered her shields. While it does wear out once you go your separate ways, it sure is worth it. Now before we go to commercial break let's have 'Jen-Jen' do one more little case for us! Let's here a number!"

Pouting, Jen stomps her feet as she answers "9"

"Finally a regular guess. Let's see case number 9!"

Box 9 revealed a scrunchie.

"Ah-ha! So that's where that was!" Grabbing the scrunchie, Chrissi quickly stashed it inside her gigantic cleavage.

"With this case we have hairstyles!" Jack announced. "This time around faces and hairstyles are separated for a more customized appearance. It was found to be a bit redundant previously, but when there are more cases to open there's certainly the space! Let's see our options"

Vintage Bomb - Jennifer's hairdos will explode into curls and perms perfect for the Stepford housewife.

Power of Drills - Anime will takeover Jennifer's hairstyle by giving her two huge drill-shaped pink ponytails that spin whenever she's agigitated.

The Walk of Shame - Sticky and messy will define Jennifer's hairstyle as semen is simulated and every style is designed for the morning after.

Emotive Ornaments - If Jennifer doesn't keep her cool, this hairstyle will let everybody know it by changing color and style to match her emotions! Includes an emoji-like hairpin that can't be removed.

Notes: I have an end goal in mind and a set path for this character for the most part. It's the reason why I haven't left any polls for choices, but please feel free to leave your comments on each chapter for which ones you personally vote for. Like how Alic has done, I would like to make branches for choices that are popular. I probably won't continue most, if not all, but this has been slightly easier to write than my other contributions to this website.

For anyone wondering, here are the full punishments of the last round.

Gift of Wisdom(Knowing Her Place): When a man is present, anything Jennifer attempts to say or do beyond the stereotypical woman's role she will fail at spectacularly. She'll sound like the biggest fool and act incapable of the easiest things.

Gift of Charity(Returning The Favour): Anytime a favour is done for Jennifer, she'll find herself compelled to return the favour to whoever asked. Of course, she'll only be able to think of sexual offers and gifts. The recipient will never find the offer rude or indecent.

Gift of Loving(Loving The Gap Moe): For the most part Jennifer will act the same, if not a bit more confrontational/rude. But whenever somebody catches her by surprise, she'll find herself acting all cute, ditzy, and 'dere' for the man/woman until they separate.

Gift of Popularity(Cammed and Captured): Jennifer will find that any sexual activity she takes part in is recorded and posted on the internet the moment it happens. Oddly, every time it happens it'll reach the center stage of some platform or website. Could be a small-time blog or a big-time news company.
