Gift it to the queen

Liandra decided she couldn't accept the gift, but instead gift it to her parents

"I am still pondering the lessons of rulership, and this is surely a fine lesson. I will spend long admiring it" She then turned to her parents "Mother, would you please accept this gift from the dwarfs? I cant look at its beauty if it rests atop of my own head"

If Borin thought to complain, one look at Liandra´s mother held his tongue. Of course the princess didn't have a clue of his lewd plan at that point and he was anxious to see the effects of his cursed crowd on the royal tramp, but the buxom Queen would be a suitable replacement. She was wearing a white dress with lace embroidery, a fairly chaste dress to cover an hourglass figure built for sex.

"You honor me much, my daughter, I am grateful for your gift and for all the good you do to our people". Her smile was genuine, even if the Queen wouldn't really be concerned or jealous if her daughter was to wear a more valuable trinket than she did.

Liandra walked to her mother, and placed the golden crown of roses and dragons on her head. There was a moment when the Queen seemed taken aback, almost stunned, her lips just partly open, but the momentary shudder was gone, and her eyelids flushed open to reveal her beautiful blue eyes. Her lips were so lush and scarlet, they never failed to impress on the princess the likeness of a rose. She bowed her head thankfully, and the princess stepped away, but not before she noticed the side glance she gave to the dwarf ambassador. Odd.

The rest of the court was much like any other, Borin didn't look for the princess and didn't spend more time than necessary among these humans. Liandra wasn't so lucky, everyone seemed to like to hear her opinions on even trivial matters, and she was too good natured to just ignore their wishes.

But that wanton glance kept bothering the princess, will she try to investigate? or just assume it was nothing, and continue with her life?
