Ghost

Janice screams within the chamber right after the lightning strike for a moment. Chamber door does not open as the chemicals drain themselves back through the tubes. Quietness befalls the laboratory where the certainty of what had occurred was indeed a failure.

From the fall Dr. Fuckenstein lays on the ground recovering from the trauma of the burst. Bob helps him up as he awakens from the burst of energy that knocked him out. A chill falls on the lab as he notices the failure of his experiment has killed his favorite assistant. All he has worked for and he has killed her.

The storm has passed with the rain settling and the thunder moving on. Sparse lighting strikes in the distance move on into the night sky. The chill of the night has crept into the old lighthouse. Wind blows in blowing right through dropping the temperature to abnormally cool weather.

“Bob, over by the door there is a thermostat see if you can crank it up” Dr. Fuckenstein orders Bob as he rubs his upper arms and seeing his breath in the moonlight feels a deep chill in the air.

“Do…Doc…Doctor…” an ominous feminine voice calls out.

Dr. Fuckenstein jumps up hearing his title called out. Looking everywhere for the voice he sees her along the stairs coming down. A pale nearly invisible figure appears to take form into the recognizable figure of his assistant Janice.

Shocked Frozen by the surprising transformation that has occurred. The transformation chamber turns humans into ghosts. With all the energy built up from the storm, it is no wonder it would do something like this. Could he bring her back to life?
