Getting your first assignment.

You came out of the dresser wearing a relic rather than mismatched clothes forgotten by a lover leaving in a hurry.

You went back to the hall to meet your mistress and get instructions about your duties as an apprentice.

"I see you found your welcome gift, that's good. I can smell that Nancy made you feel welcome too, I need you to follow her on your first assignment. " greeted Lady Formosa. It would be hard to pass anything under her nose.

" Mistress, this suit is a family relic. It was lost to us for centuries, where did you find it? " you asked her.

" I won it playing card against a Dwarven Thane, the poor little thing had only his beard left to preserve his modesty but couldn't stop playing. He couldn't shave and become a pariah so he bet this and lost. Now, I don't know where he got it, but I knew what it was, I just waited for the right Ashcroft to give it to. " she replied, waving her hand around to send you away.

Decently clothed and looking powerful you followed the Maid outside of the tower. Another look at it confirmed that your mistress sanctum was a lot bigger than its external walls should allow.

Nancy was walking quickly in the streets, dodging both pedestrians and the gifts the riders left on the ground. You had a lot less experience in the street that uoy sister did but you managed to match her pace.

"Nancy, what is my assignment? Where are we going? " you asked her.

" The mistress thinks you're good with runes. A friend of hers has a few magical things that are working strangely at her place and she wants you to fix them. We're here. " she replied pointing at a building in the street a few doors away.
