Getting the most out of it

Now that I've decide to play the game I might as well try to get the most out of it. I grin a little as I rob my piggy bank and count up to 264,18USD. I could bet the whole sum on myself and would make a tidy sum of 2000 USD. However not betting the maximum amount of 1000USD is quite a waste. Just think about it... you have odds of 1:10 and knowing for sure that you will win, too. I must borrow some money. I look up at my wand clock and it is 00:42am but I still start to dial Anna's phone number.

"Lisa?... Is there a problem? Do you know what time it is?" Anna asks drowsily.

"Sorry, Anna. I know it is late, but it is very important. It is about the game... I have very accurate information about the girls playing." I apologize.

"You know some girls playing Tag?" Anna replies a little annoyed, "I know it is hot news, but you don't really have to call me in the middle of the night, you know?."

"No, you don't understand. We could make a lot of money right now if we place some bets. Remember they blocked Vivian after the news got leaked? It is just I don't have much money myself." I explain.

"Ah... so you want to borrow some money? How much do you need." Anna inquires.

"As much as I can get. I would be able to make a big fortune if I have 5000USD. However smaller sums are fine, too." I reply.

"Hmm... that's quite a lot of money? What if your information is incorrect?" Anna states still with some doubt.

"Will you borrow me some money if I tell you the reason why I am 100% sure?" I ask.

"Let's make a deal. I have saved about 1200USD. You convince me and I will lend you 600USD and I will also bet 600USD myself." Anna offers.

"Do you think you could borrow some money, too? I don't think we will ever have such a chance a second time." I am still not fully satisfied with only 600USD.

"Well, I could try. I will lend you the same sum equal to the bets I will make. Now please tell me why you are so sure Lisa, where did you get your information from." Anna is exited about the prospect of making some easy money herself now.

Mustering all my courage for a few seconds I finally tell her, "Anna... I will be one of the girls playing."

"You... you are playing? You are joking with me right? When did you apply for the game?" Anna gasps in utter disbelief.
