Getting the most out of it II

Anna and her mum pick me up to meet with Cynthia and Emilie at 7:22 am in the morning. The unexpected visit surprises my mum a bit but she does let me go after hearing from Anna's mum that it is about studying for an English test together. After a heating discussion with Anna yesterday we've decided that it would be best to let them in on my secret and we've decided to meet up at Cynthia's home. They would surely find out sooner or later anyway. Actually given how Cynthia is always getting in touch with the newest gossips it would be a miracle if she does not find it out quickly.

"I have checked my bank account, altogether I have 680USD. You two said that we can place a 100% save bet on the game?" Emilie starts.

I nod, "Yes, I know roughly the rooster of all the girls that will take part in the game by now. As this information is valuable I want 50% of the winnings."

"I don't think it is fair. You don't risk anything at all. What if we lose the wager?" Cynthia asks.

"Lisa, knows the name of six girls and five of them will definitely play. Lisa and me already placed our bets in the morning on a girl that is playing for sure. I even went to a pawnshop right at 6:00am in the morning and pawned my bike, my iphone and some of my mum's jewelry I've borrowed." Anna explains.

"What?! You did even pawn your mum's jewelry?" Cynthia cries out.

"Yes, because Lisa did convince me yesterday. I think this is really a once in a lifetime chance to make some easy money. I will get them all back in the next few days anyway." Anna replies confidently.

"Well, then I also accept Lisa proposal. Cynthia, even with odds of only 1:5 we would already tripple our money after deducting her share." Emilie agrees.

Cynthia thinks it over for a minute and finally nods, "Okay, okay. I see your point. I have saved up 440USD. So whom should we place the bet on?"

"Today we've already placed each 1000USD on... well on Lisa." Anna smiles.

Cynthia and Emilie both stare first at Anna with big eyes before their gaze wander over to me still not fully believing what they're hearing.

"Are you for real?" Cynthia asks feeling a little bit cheated, "Just a few days ago you were refuting everything, even laughing at me when I placed a 10USD bet on you."

"I just knew about it yesterday evening myself." I tell her truthfully. "Just hurry up and place the bets before they start to block it in their system."

"I've placed all my money on Lisa. So just like that we will make 6800USD out of it now?" Emilie wonders aloud.

"I don't have paypal." Cynthia says, "We either need to go and buy paysafe cards or call Daisy."

"Let's call Daisy. We can even pay her 100USD if she makes haste." I tell her.
