Getting some sleep and getting back on the road.

"Well then, I think it's time we headed off to bed," Touya yawned, fixing his pants.

"That does sound good," Yae agreed, getting up to get her sleeping kimono on. Touya gave her a wave before exiting to go to bed in his own tent.

Next morning, they were off again. "Should be another town ahead of us at the end of the day, so we can rest in more comfortable settings tonight," Elize noted as Yae was driving again.

"In the meantime, let's see what other spells I can learn," Touya mused as he looked over the book with Linze, still getting some help to read through it. "Slip, huh? Removes all friction from the ground in a certain spot if I'm reading that right. A simple, but highly useful ability I would think," he grinned.

"Oh jeez, you're going to start pulling pranks if you can use that one, aren't you?" Elize deadpanned.

"Maybe," he sniggered. It was a tempting idea, but he was thinking more for battlefield application. Hard to fight while on your ass. "I'll have to try that one out later."

"Okay, so you wanna try another one then?" Linze suggested.

"Yeah, let's try another one... Oh, here's one called Long Sense... Apparently it improves the senses to a great degree..." he mused, before trying it out. 'Huh? Is this the smell of blood?' he thought as a scent hit his nose. A bit more exploration with his senses had him widening his eyes. "Yae! There is a fight going on ahead of us! Full speed ahead!"
