Getting ready for an outing
Taking a moment to think it over, an idea came to Delia. Part of her wasn't sure why she didn't think of this yesterday. Perhaps because this was spur of a moment. Yeah, that was probably it.
"How would you feel about getting to play with people your age, Ashlee dear?" Delia inquired and watched her daughter perk up. Good to see that she was on the same page as her here. "Wonderful, let's get you fed."
Helping Ashlee out of the crib, the pair headed for the kitchen. There, a high chair awaited. Strapping her daughter in, Delia walked over to the counter. Unscrewing the lid off the baby food, she dipped a spoon in. Bringing it over to Ashlee, she got little in the way of resistance.
"That's my girl!" Delia cooed and cracked a smile. This would work out perfectly.
