Getting home from school

Luz stepped off the bus onto her street corner and began the short walk home. The school day was fine but her mind was still stuck on what happened at the boiling isles and feeling, like she was the cause of it all. Ever since getting home shes been trying to hold back from spiraling downwards and has been forgeting to take care of herself from time to time.

Finally arriving home she open the door and steps inside tossing her bag on a chair and kicked off her shoes. Luz being caught in her own head didn't notice he mom walk up behind her from the hall.

"Hola mija" Camila say seeing luz, the sudden suprise made luz tense up but immediately relax when she remebered it was just he mom.

"Hey mama" Luz responed in a low voice. before turning to head to her room.

"Not so fast Luz I have to check your diaper remember" Camila said in soft but firm tone. immediately Luz was flushed with embaressment as she turned to her mother.

"Mama don't say it out loud, what if my friends hear!"

"don't worry mija, they're hangout at the cabin right now. anyway did you use you diaper today?"

Luz shift on her feet embaressed before speaking "a little while I was in class." Camila walk forward next to Luz holding an open hand up to ask without words if she can check herself; Luz give a nod and Camila gently placed her hand over Luz's diaper feeling it's damp surface.

"Alright lets get you changed mija." they walk to the bathroom where Camila pulls out the changing supplies and Luz undresses hersel to just her shirt and diaper. once every thing is laid out Luz laid down on the mat and carmila began ripping the tabs of Luz's diaper. she had only peed herself so their was no mess but camila still made sure to wipe Luz's intimate areas down just to make sure, making Luz shiver slightly at the cold wipe before putting on a heath amount of powered to keep Luz from getting a rash. after that Luz lifted her legs as her mom slide a new diaper under her and clasped it around Luz's waist.

"There we go, all clean." Camila says patting Luz's diaper and helping her daughter up from the floor.

Luz sat on the toilet for a moment reajusting the diaper to sit comfortably on her waist as Camlia put away the supplies. just as Camlia finshed though she heard a sniff come from behind her and turn to see Luz with watery eyes.

"Oh mija, whats wrong did something happen?" Camila asks now kneeling beside Luz.

"No nothing happened mama. I just can't stop feel like I messed up." Luz says tears now rolling down her cheers.

"Oh mi dulce chica, you didn't mess anything up." she says giving Luz a soft hug.

"But the Isles are probably in ruin , eda and king might be hurt or worse and all my friends are trapped here because of me-" Luz sputtered being gently hushed by Camila.

"you did the best you could mija and that all anyone can ask of you," Camila pulled back hold Luz at arms length, "you are an amazing girl Luz and I am so proud of you."

Luz looked into her mothers eyes and took a few deep breaths before smiling back at Camila, "Thank you mama"

"Anything for you Luz, why don't you go to your room and get dressed while I make you a snack."

"Alright." Luz said happy with the idea.

"I love you Luz." camila says before give Luz a kiss on the forehead.

"I love you too mama." she says back. after taking a moment to wipe her eyes Luz takes her cloths in hand and walk to her room to get dressed, not bothering to cover herself as her mom said the other were out at the cabin.
