Getting away is gonna be tough!

Stepping into that branch just made my life so much harder. As soon as I heard it crack I began to take a large stride, my vision slowing down to see the huge plant beasts rising and beginning to give chase.

Their huge lumbering forms blundered after me as in my fear my legs began to pump. They pressed into the soft turf so hard that every step kicked up bits of soil and small rocks. I began to pray that someway these beasts would get blinded by it... following suit... as I ran I drew branches and leaves into their path trying to either obscure their vision or stop their momentum.

As I kept running I heard one leap from behind, the great legs of the beast carrying it upward as it roared and began to descend right towards me... leaving me to only dodge to the right into a thick density of green ground foliage standing as tall as my head but slightly shorter than their height. The beast landed with a thud and slid a bit on the soft soil as its fellow plant creature blundered forward after me.
