"I must say, though I confess myself disappointed that you didn't desire to cross blades with me today, it is certainly nice to have some company for a change since I arrived," the Dullahan remarked, cutting into a slice of boar, and feeding it to his head, which rested on the table, at least, Kazuma assumed the head was eating it, he still couldn't see the face in those shadows. Kazuma stared incredulously at the act. He didn't think Dullahans could eat, what with the whole head being severed thing... How did the food even reach their stomachs? Must be magical shenanigans, not worth questioning beyond that. "My undead servants can be such a bore."

"Well, I should give you some warning, that arch priest there," Kazuma pointed at Aqua, who was fidgeting, and miming the motions to cast Turn Undead without even trying to hide it, "Is an idiot, and doesn't really like the undead. Feel free to clobber her if she gets out of line. Heck, I'll even do it for you as an apology if she does, it's the only way she'll learn."

"Hey!" Aqua protested.

"...I see..." the Dullahan sweat dropped. "I should warn you not to bother trying that spell on me, the Devil King has enchanted my armor to repel holy magic. Wouldn't do to have one of his top generals walking around with such a blatant weak point, would it?"

"I suppose not. Refreshing to hear that at least someone else in this world has some common sense, even if we are enemies at the end of the day," Kazuma replied.

"Hey, what about us?" Fio whined.

"I know what I said," Kazuma retorted.

"Well, he wouldn't be the Devil King if he didn't have some degree of cunning," the Dullahan added.

"Guess not," Kazuma nodded. "So Mr... Actually, what IS your name? It's a little awkward just calling you "the Dullahan," or the "Devil King General" all the time."

"Ah yes! I never did introduce myself, did I?" the Dullahan asked. "Where are my manners? I am called Beldia. In life, I was an honored knight, who was eventually unjustly executed by beheading. That's how I ended up becoming a Dullahan."

"That sucks," Kazuma remarked. "So Beldia, about what we came to discuss with you..."

"Oh yes... What is it you would ask of me?" Beldia asked.
