Gets some answers.

Suddenly Monica blinked. "Wow, that's better. I was feeling really foggy for a minute there." She thought for a second. "Took my emotions away again? And it apparently you made me really interested in experimenting with you. I guess if you're gonna mess around with me, it helps if I'm into it."

He shrugged. "I didn't actually take your emotions away. I just set you to be constantly agreeable. That way you wouldn't be a robot, but you're not gonna get like really mad or depressed about what we're doing."

"Makes sense to me. Thanks for doing that, I don't think I'd want to experience this with my full range of emotions. So what next?"

Jeremy already had a plan. "First of all, I'd love to get some background. When and how did you first get ahold of this thing?"

"It was a long time ago. Thousands of years, actually. There was some kind of clerical error and I was given it as a sort of consolation prize."

Jeremy was taken aback. "Wait, you're thousands of years old? What was your original name?"

Monica sighed. "My name was Matthias and I don't really remember much of my life. My earliest memory is coming out of the ground. I was in a graveyard and I was surrounded by other people like me. They looked like trees." Her eyes grew distant as she reminisced. "I didn't have any idea who I was. A man approached me and handed me that slate. He told me my name was Matthias and I was alive again due to a clerical mistake. He explained what the slate could do. He said I could never die and I could never go back to who I was. This would help me stay young and be whoever I wanted. Then he disappeared and left me with it."

Jeremy's mind was reeling. "Wait, so you used to be a guy? And you were some kind of zombie or something? Monica, do have any idea how crazy this sounds?"

She smiled slightly. "I know exactly how crazy it sounds. And you know that I can't lie to you. Since then I've been all over the world. I've taken many forms and done many things. Suffice to say that as it stands, I'm enjoying being a successful career as an intelligent, attractive woman named Monica." She winked. "And a loving, supportive boyfriend who probably wants to get more from me right now than a history lesson."

He swallowed hard. "I- what do you- I don't know, what should we do with it?"

She leaned forward seductively. "The sky's the limit. You can turn me into anyone and anything you want. You can make me your **** or your master. Don't ask yourself what we should do. Ask yourself what you want right now."
