She gestured at the Spanx, which did indeed cover Lauren from thigh to ribs in flesh tone, tight material.

"You're practically dressed, with all that on!" Her mom pointed out. "Now, I'll deal with your dress: and you go out!"

To Lauren's growing horror her mother pushed her to the bathroom door, swung it open and pushed her out. Lauren stumbled out into the restaurant. Heads turned. People looked up in shock as she stood there wearing nothing but her padded bra and Spanx!
