Get into the Elevator

Side elavator is broken and rarely used by anyway. Which is odd considering junitors office is just next by. Luckely for me it's perfect for invalunteer streakers like me.

I run toward the elevator swiftly, press the button and.... i hear someone. Elevator door was opening very slowly, I used all my strenght to pull them open.

I did it! I jumped in pressed the button and got to correct floor! Now how to get to my dorm room? Longer and safer route or faster riskier route?
