Get in the elevator.

Assuming it would be pretty fast, I decided to head down to wait for Adonis and Cheryl in the car.

I watched as the elevator sling down from double digits to single to negative. As I stepped out of the elevator, it was then I remembered that I stopped driving for some time. The keys are handled first by my old driver and now Adonis.

As I contemplated on going back up, I decided to be a bit more patient.

Remembering where the car was parked, I walked without hurry toward the vehicle.

Upon arriving, I simply leaned against the passenger side door and took out my phone.

I began to catch up on a web novel I have been following, with every few minutes looking up to see if Adonis and Cheryl had arrived or not.

Time passed as I read chapter after chapter, I frowned slightly as I noticed no Adonis or Cheryl in sight. Deciding to not wait any longer I decided to head up to take a look on what is taking them so long.

'Cheryl couldn't have possibly converted Adonis into a workaholic, has she? From the beginning I long figured Adonis is an exceptionally fast learner and Cheryl, thinking he learned fast might interpret that as his interest in this line of work and decided to make him stay.'

As I thought of such a possibility, I decided to quicken my steps toward the elevator. Thankfully as I arrived, someone just came out. I entered the elevator shaft and tapped on the top floor.
