Normally that only happens during combat. You tap the back of your skull, and run an internal diagnostic, receiving no response for several seconds. Eventually, a small notification appears in the corner of your vision.

Blinking, you open it up for more details. Over the course of the next few seconds, the rage you'd forgotten about earlier comes flooding back to you. This guy didn't just **** you, he violated your mind, programmed you to make you think you wanted it. A coldness flows through you, and you clench your fists.

The next few seconds pass in a blue. You stand up and move down the stairs, back into the reception, and to the treatment room at full heightened speed. You're so fast that the receptionist doesn't even register your presence.

Danny's sitting in the chair you occupied earlier, trying to treat his own broken rib. Your internal timestamp lazily counts the milliseconds, as you decide what to do with him. With how much quicker you are than a standard human, he hasn't even reacted to your presence yet.
