Get Up

Emma fixed her skirt and stood up. They gave up searching after a few more minutes. Disheartened at not finding anything, and looking to refocus on staying buzzed, the group headed back outside and Ian prepared another joint.

The rest of the night went by quickly in a hazy blur. Emma flirted with Ian most of the night. Ian flirted back. Craig and Jenny rejoined the group later, though Jenny was all but done partying. Everyone got her dressed and then went back to their fun.

Emma had a great time. Craig turned out to be an OK guy, and she was glad that Jenny had found him. Nick was nice, and funny. Ian was funny and nice too, but Emma found a strong connection growing with him.

As the night came to a close, Emma found herself kissing Ian goodbye before the boys left. They found themselves making plans to get together again before the week was through.

Alone with Jenny, and feeling like a school girl with a crush, Emma went about getting her drunk cousin back upstairs. Despite the effort it took, Emma couldn't wipe the smile off of her face.
