Chapter 22 by koriyou
What's Lilin's next move ?
Get Nathan out of the way
"Your husband left, right?"
"Yeah, just a few minutes ago. We're all alone, I promise. He won't be back for a long while."
Lilin giggled, a naughty thought crossing her mind.
"Oh yeah, he won't be back at all."
"I swear I saw something! Give me a minute to check it out."
"Really? I get you off, and you leave me hanging? Is that it?" Lilly threw her arms up in frustration.
"It'll be just a minute, babe. Maybe it's a burglar."
Lilly sighed, throwing herself onto the bed.
Nathan grabbed a baseball bat and exited the room, searching for the intruder. Fear gnawed at him, his mind replaying the image of a creature with glowing eyes and a spaded tail. He couldn't tell Lilly; she'd think he was crazy. His heart pounded faster as he approached the doorway, ready to swing. But he saw nothing. Meanwhile, Lilin had vanished.
"Did you get them?" Lilly's voice dripped with feigned concern.
"Shhh, I'm serious. Something's here." Nathan's hair stood on end. Something felt very wrong. The room seemed darker. He reached for the light switch, flipping it repeatedly to no avail.
"The light's not working!" he shouted towards Lilly.
No response.
"Lilly?"
"Lilly's not here," Lilin's voice trembled with anticipation.
Nathan looked around as the room grew progressively darker, the moonlight fading.
The disembodied voice grew closer, "Hello!"
Nathan turned towards the sound, bat swinging. He hadn't imagined it. Lilin grabbed the bat effortlessly, stopping his swing. Her glowing red eyes pierced through the darkness.
"Oh, brave, aren't we? For someone who sneaks behind the back of married men."
Nathan's arms trembled as he pushed against the bat, **** to land a hit.
"Cute, but if we're into smacking around wood, I'd rather deal with this." Lilin grabbed his member.
Nathan's heart pounded in his chest, his breath coming in quick, shallow gasps. The terror of Lilin's grip paralyzed him. He tried to wrench away, but her strength was inhuman. She smiled a predatory glint in her eyes, her grip tightening.
"Please, don't," he whispered, his voice barely audible.
Lilin chuckled softly, her breath warm against his skin. "Oh, Nathan, this is just the beginning."
She leaned closer, her lips brushing against his ear. "I'm going to eat you up!"
Lilin pushed Nathan back onto the wall with a sudden, forceful shove. He scrambled to get up, but his limbs felt heavy, unresponsive. Lilin loomed over him, her silhouette a dark shadow against the dim light of her glowing eyes.
Nathan's mind raced. He had to do something, anything, to break free. Summoning the last of his courage, he lashed out with his foot, aiming for Lilin's knee. The impact barely fazed her, but it gave him a brief moment to roll off the bed and stagger to his feet.
"Running won't help you, Nathan," Lilin taunted, her voice echoing eerily around the room. "There's no escape."
He bolted for the door, his hand reaching for the doorknob. It twisted under his grip, but before he could pull it open, Lilin's hand slammed it shut. She was right behind him, her breath hot on his neck.
"Stay," she commanded, her voice laced with an unnatural whisper.
Nathan's body froze, the command sinking into his bones. He turned slowly to face her, his eyes wide with terror. Lilin's smile widened, and she leaned in, her lips brushing against his as she whispered, "Good boy."
Lilin's eyes glowed brighter suddenly, and her transformation was completed. Her horns curled back from her forehead, leathery wings unfurled behind her, and her spaded tail lashed.
"Welcome to your new reality," she hissed, her voice chilling.
Nathan's mind reeled. A soundless scream escaped his lips. Lilin's claws traced a line down his chest, leaving a fire trail in their wake. He was trapped, caught in a nightmare from which there was no waking.
"Your soul is mine, Nathan," Lilin whispered, her eyes glowing unholy light. "And I will savor every moment of your torment."
As darkness swallowed him whole, Nathan realized with dawning horror that this was not the end but merely the beginning of an eternity of suffering.
Meanwhile, Lilin returned to the bedroom where Lilly lay on the bed, unaware of the danger approaching. Lilin's eyes glowed with evil anticipation as she approached, her wings folding back into her body, leaving only the horns and tail as a reminder of her true nature.
"Now, where were we?" she purred.
Lilly looked up, confusion turning to horror, as she saw the demonic figure standing over her. "Nathan?" she called out, fear lacing her voice.
Lilin's smile widened. "Don't worry about Nathan," she said, her voice dripping with false reassurance. "He's... preoccupied. Now, let's have some fun, shall we?"
As she reached out towards Lilly, the room seemed to darken again, the shadows closing around them both.
