Genie's freedom

Now that he had power over anyone John really could have anything he wanted just be getting someone to give it to him. He therefore decided to give the Genie a break.

... "that you were free" he said

Suddenly the golden bracelets that John hadn't even noticed fell from the genie's wrists.

"I'm Free!!" said the genie "Free of that accursed lamp. Free to go where I want, and do what I want. I only wish that I could avenge myself on that cursed Emir who stuffed me in that lamp.
